ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences Academic Excellence Masters Scholarship

Overview

Applications are auto assessed. Any eligible student who applies for the first assessment round of applications will be considered for this scholarship.

Each year the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (“the College”) may offer up to 10 awards known as the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences Academic Excellence Masters Scholarship (‘the Award’).

The objective of the Award is to support, enable and encourage international students to undertake studies in the arts, humanities or social sciences at the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Funding for this Award has been provided by ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Benefits

In 2025, successful recipient/s will receive up to $20,000 in the first year of study paid in two equal instalments following the Census date of each semester.

The recipient is responsible for making payment of all tuition fees by the prescribed date as set out by the University each session. Recipients of this award are responsible for the costs of books, study materials, accommodation and all other costs of study.

Eligibility

The award is available each year to a prospective ANU student who:

1. is an international student
2. is a citizen of one of the countries published on the scholarships webpage (as updated annually); and
3. receives an offer of admission to a Master or Master Advanced program (excluding the Master of Studies/Master of Studies Advanced) at the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Eligible countries are China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and Indonesia (or as otherwise advertised by the College).

How to apply

There is no application form for the Scholarship. Students are automatically considered based on them meeting the eligibility criteria for admission to the University.
